Use the sun to charge your leisure battery without raising the roofline. The 150W semi-flexible panel sits just millimetres above the roof surface — no aluminium frame, no visible mounting brackets, no extra wind noise at motorway speed. Panel, matched SmartSolar controller, cabling, and PV isolator in one kit (excluding fixings and adhesives/sealants).

At a fraction of the weight of a rigid panel, this kit is ideal for elevating roofs, pop-tops, and curved surfaces where a rigid panel either won't fit or looks wrong. The SmartSolar MPPT controller makes sure every ray that the panel catches gets converted properly.

How does a flexible panel compare to rigid?

Flexible panels run slightly hotter (they're closer to the roof), which costs roughly 5-10% of output in hot weather. The trade-off is weight, height, and aerodynamics. For most vans, the difference is small; for elevating roofs, flexible is the only choice.

How is it mounted?

Adhesive (Sikaflex or similar — not supplied) for most roofs, with optional mechanical fixing points. The key is a clean, sealant-compatible surface. The cable entry gland provides a watertight pass-through.

Can I walk on it?

Occasionally, carefully, with soft-soled shoes — but it's not designed for regular foot traffic. Plan your roof layout so you don't need to.

What can 150W run?
