Delivery

Postage Policy

Standard stock products, including most hook up kits, split charge kits are dispatched on Tuesdays and Thursdays, usually, on a next day delivery. This excludes camper conversion kits and full wiring kits and is subject to stock. Please contact us if you're unsure.

Please select your courier when checking out and that will give you an estimated delivery date. This is subject to change and cannot be guaranteed. It's an estimate only.

All larger items (typically over 1kg) will be sent via a one-day courier service, typically APC overnight or DPD local.

All UK orders over £30 are sent via free post (UK only) and orders totalling over £30 are usually sent via signed for post/courier.

Returns policy

Unwanted item returns are also accepted within 60 days from the date of sale in their original condition, however, in this case, the buyer is liable to pay the return shipping costs.

Terms and conditions of use

All images, products and text are owned by Rayne Automotive and are not subject to unauthorised distribution.

All prices include VAT at the current UK rate of 20%.

It is possible that the colours and style of products may vary from those photographed, however, the specification will be comparable or superior. Please contact us for the most up to date components.

Rayne Automotive ltd. reserves the right to cancel orders at any time due to stock/supply issues, or if we have an unresolvable issue with the buyer's address/details.

None of our terms and condition affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

The purchase and use of our products is legally bound by our full terms and conditions.

All images and texts displayed on our website are the property of Rayne Automotive Ltd or are used with the owners' permission and are not subject to reuse/duplication or any unauthorised activity without prior consent. We may seek damages for unlawful use of intellectual property.

This website is operated by Rayne Automotive Ltd, a UK incorporated company (No 08778837) and we are a controller for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679. This means that we are responsible for, and control the processing of, the personal information you provide to us when using this website or contacting us using other alternative means in accordance with this privacy policy.

We care about your data, how it’s used and how it’s stored. This is why we correctly store any data we may collect and only distribute it to necessary third parties such as the courier handling your order. This policy aims to explain when/why we collect your data and what’s done with it.

By using our website, or contacting us, you are accepting that we will need to process your personal information as detailed in this policy.

When?

  1. You make a purchase from us through our website, by telephone or through other sales channels;
  2. You contact us with a sales or technical enquiry, or leave us feedback;
  3. You voluntarily sign up for our newsletter;
  4. You raise a complaint or dispute with us;
  5. You participate in our competitions or promotions.

What?

  1. Your name;
  2. Your billing and/or delivery addresses;
  3. Your email address;
  4. Your telephone numbers;
  5. Your machine identifiers (such as your IP address / user-agent),
  6. Your password (which is salted and hashed) should you choose to set one up.

Why?

Your data will be used by Rayne Automotive in order to process your request and/or order and where necessary, we will share it with our partners in order to deliver your service/product. For example, your delivery address will be given to a delivery partner in order to effect delivery. We will not sell your information to third parties.

Warranty information

All of our products are supplied with an absolute minimum 60 day workmanship and component guarantee. Any faulty products will be replaced or repaired if we are contacted during this period. The faulty item must be returned and inspected before the replacement is sent out, this usually occurs on the same business day, unless we need to extensively test the item. In which case this will be done as soon as possible.

We accept no liability for items not supplied by us, and any damage that may be caused by a faulty item.

The fault must be reported within 60 days in order to guarantee that we can honour this warranty, any issues reported after the individually specified warranty period may not be covered.  All items and warranties are subject to the following conditions;

5. Quality

5.1 The Seller warrants that on delivery the Goods shall:

(a) conform in all material respects with the Order and/or Specification;

(b) be free from material defects in design, material and workmanship;

(c) be of satisfactory quality; and

(d) be fit for any purpose held out by the Seller.

5.2 The Seller warrants that all Goods are supplied with a one year warranty.

5.3 If the Buyer gives Notice to the Seller that some or all of the Goods do not comply with the warranty set out in Clause 5.1 within 60 Business Days of Delivery (for defects that would be apparent upon inspection) or 60 Business Days of the defect becoming apparent then (for latent defects) then, on the condition that the Buyer returns the Goods to the Seller at the Buyer’s costs, the Seller shall at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective goods or provide a refund of the price of the defective goods.

5.4 The Seller shall not be liable for Goods failure to comply with the warranty in Clause 5.1 if after giving notice:

(a) the Buyer makes any further use of such Goods after giving notice in accordance with clause 5.2;

(b) the defect arises because the Buyer failed to follow the Seller’s oral or written instructions as to the storage, commissioning, installation, use and maintenance of the Goods or (if there are none) good trade practice regarding the same;

(c) the defect arises as a result of the Seller following any drawing, design or Specification supplied by the Buyer;

(d) the Buyer alters or repairs such Goods without the written consent of the Seller;

(e) the defect arises as a result of fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, or abnormal storage or working conditions; or(f) the Goods differ from their description or the Specification as a result of changes made to ensure they comply with applicable statutory or regulatory requirements.
