The most affordable way to a complete 240V system. This kit includes the outdoor inlet, pre-wired consumer unit with RCD/MCB protection, sockets, and a 10A mains battery charger — everything for safe shore power and overnight battery recovery, at the kit range's lowest price.

The 10A standard charger suits smaller AGM batteries and occasional hook-up use. If you're mostly off-grid with solar and split charging, and you just want mains available for campsites and Driveway top-ups, this kit covers it without paying for capability you won't use.

The safety chain is identical to the pricier kits: IP67 inlet, RCD/MCB-protected consumer unit, proper isolation. The only difference is the charger — same infrastructure, budget charging.

Why choose this over the Victron 10A kit?

Budget, and honestly that's most of it. The Victron Blue Smart adds 7-stage adaptive charging, Bluetooth monitoring, and lithium support. If you're charging a small AGM battery occasionally and the price matters, this kit is the sensible choice.

Can this charge lithium batteries?

Yes — this charger supports lithium leisure batteries along with AGM and gel. If you're charging a large lithium bank regularly, the kits with the 20A or 30A Victron chargers will do it faster.

What's the difference from the No Charger kit?

About £50-100 and a charger. The No Charger kit is for people who already own one; this kit includes a basic one. If you'll ever want a Victron charger, buying it in the kit is cheaper than adding it later.

Is the safety protection really the same?

Yes — same RCD/MCB protection, same consumer unit, same IP67 inlet. The kit range shares its mains infrastructure; only the charger varies between versions.
