❓ FAQ

Is the surround really included?

Yes — the silver double surround ships in the box with the sockets. The black version is listed separately. You Might Also Need: consumer unit · mains hook-up kit · C-line single mains socket NOTES FOR JAMES — C-LINE RANGE STRUCTURE (from the live 15 Sep 12:00 pull, all findings verified): (1) DUPLICATE HD SOCKET: active 'Modular System 12V Socket - Heavy Duty' (9097706111290) and new draft 'C-Line Modular System HD Socket' (16078595785084) are the same item — consolidate to one. The active product's 'No thanks' variant is priced £5.61 = the PC ex-VAT figure shown as inc (should be £6.73); the draft is priced correctly. (2) CROSSED COLOUR LABELS on the active HD product: 'Yes Silver' carries SKU STK39STK34STK34 (STK34 = BLACK single surround) and 'Yes Black' carries STK39STK31STK31 (STK31 = SILVER) — labels and SKUs need swapping, and its combo prices (£9.65/£9.96) differ from the plain 12V socket product's £9.95 for the same SKU STK39STK34STK34. (3) MISSING VARIANTS: most modules are missing option variants live — 12V Socket has only Yes Black (no No-thanks, no Yes Silver); 2-Gang Switch has only Yes Black; Single Switch, both Dual USBs, USB+Voltmeter, single Mains Socket all missing their No-thanks variant. Only Switched USB, Double Mains Socket and the HD product carry all three options. The missing STK42STK31 (2-gang silver) is also why its SB config 404s. (4) SB SURROUND CONFIGS: only 2 of 18 live (Switched USB black+silver). The other 16 still fail on the SB app side — 4 days after the variants were created, this needs the Simple Bundles app dashboard sync or a support ticket, not another API retry. (5) EHU5/EHU6 Double 12V Socket drafts: confirm whether these are standalone panels or should be expressed as 12V module + double surround — architecture overlaps the modular system (flagged in their FAQ sections). (6) SPEC CONFLICTS to confirm: HD socket 10A (legacy page) vs 15A (range spec); Dual USB 1A (legacy page) vs 2.1A (range spec); switch ratings not on legacy pages; surround outer dims; CBE cross-compatibility of surrounds. (7) Surrounds vs PC: live surround SKUs STK31-36 collide with PC records for other items (STK31=USB module silver, STK32=blanking plate, STK33=single surround black, STK35/36=ANL fuses) — surrounds need their own PC components before pricing sync. (8) SC4 product title contains '2024' — rename to 'Dual Busbar & Isolator Set' at launch per your internal-ref ruling. SA6 adapter cable needs price + PC entry (Richard).
