Complete mains wiring kit for Victron MultiPlus inverter-chargers — hook-up inlet, consumer unit and changeover, ready to connect

Handles the 240V side of a MultiPlus installation. The MultiPlus is an inverter-charger — it needs a mains feed when you're on hook-up, and it needs to switch your sockets between shore power and inverter power. This kit provides the inlet, the consumer unit with 2 x RCBOs, and the wiring to bring it all together.

The MultiPlus handles the changeover automatically — when shore power is present it charges your battery and passes mains through to your sockets; when it's absent it inverts from your battery. This kit is everything on the 240V side to make that work safely.

Pre-wired consumer unit, IP67 inlet, and the cabling specified for MultiPlus current ratings. The 240V half of your inverter installation, handled.

The MultiPlus does the clever stuff — charging, inverting, seamless changeover. This kit does the 240V infrastructure — getting shore power safely in and distributed to where it's needed.

Anything that brings 240V into a vehicle needs proper protection. The 2 x RCBOs in this kit trip in milliseconds on a fault — protecting you and the MultiPlus.

03Sized for MultiPlus Current

The MultiPlus 12/3000 can pass through 16A and charge at 120A DC. The wiring in this kit is specified for the full range — no bottleneck at the consumer unit.

04Pairs with the MultiPlus Kit

This kit covers 240V. The MultiPlus Kit covers the inverter-charger itself and its DC side. Together they're the complete installation.

Does this include the MultiPlus itself?

No — this is the 240V wiring infrastructure. The MultiPlus Kit (available separately) includes the inverter-charger and its DC leads. Together they complete the installation.

How does the changeover work?

The MultiPlus senses shore power. Present: it charges your battery and passes mains to your sockets. Absent: it inverts from your battery to power the same sockets. The switch is automatic and instant — you don't do anything.

Is this different from the standard mains kits?

Yes — the standard kits include a dedicated battery charger. This kit is for MultiPlus systems where the MultiPlus IS the charger, so the kit is wiring and protection only.

What sizes does it fit?

The kit works with all MultiPlus sizes — the consumer unit and wiring are specified for the largest (12/3000) so smaller units simply use less of the available capacity.
