One purchase and the whole electrical system of your camper is sorted — split charge, solar, mains hook up and charging, and the battery to hold your energy in. The aim here is to cover all of your fusing, switching, wiring, battery and charging for the complete electrical system. Every part is specified to work together, so there's no compatibility guesswork, no piecing together suppliers, and no forum threads at midnight. It arrives, you install it, it works.
The heart of the system is our 12V Power Board in its 18A variant — the Orion Tr-Smart DCDC charger, fusing, and connections arrive pre-wired and tested on a CNC-machined phenolic plywood panel. Your installation is connecting cables, not building an electrical system from loose parts. Pair it with the mains power board and both boards of the system are plug-and-play.
Charging comes from three directions: an 18A Victron charger feeds the battery whilst you drive, solar keeps it topped up when parked — 190W rigid for best yield, 150W flexible for a low profile, and the 7A mains board charges when you hook up. The included Fogstar Drift 105Ah lithium battery shows its charge state live in the app — you always know where you stand.

Which layout should I choose?
We offer 10 layouts covering the common camper conversions — Small Van A-D and Large Van 1-6. Each one determines the loom lengths and the battery cable run, drawn to order. If your layout isn't listed or your conversion is unusual, call or email us before ordering and we'll spec a custom one.
I'm not sure which system level I need.
Try our online System Builder at systembuilder.rayneautomotive.co.uk — it asks how you use your van and sizes the system to match. If you're still unsure, call us and we'll talk it through. This starter system suits lights, fridge, fan, and device charging; if you want 240V power, look at the Off-Grid Adventure or Full Off-Grid systems.
What's the difference between the Power Board and Install Kit versions?
Yes — split charge, solar, mains, battery, and all the cabling between them. The only things you supply are roof-mount fixings and sealant, and your 12V fittings (lights, sockets, fridge) which wire into the labelled loom.
Should I choose the rigid or the flexible panel?
The 190W rigid panel gives the best yield for the money and suits a flat roof section. The 150W flexible panel sits low-profile for curved or weight-sensitive roofs. Both feed the same SmartSolar 75/15 MPPT controller on the solar power board.
