This kit combines our low-profile 150W semi-flexible solar panel with the Isolated Solar PV Power Board — everything you need for flush-to-the-roof solar charging and pre-wired 12V distribution in one kit (excluding fixings and adhesives/sealants).

The panel mounts flat with nothing above the roofline. The board arrives pre-wired with the MPPT controller, fusing, and busbars already installed and tested. You mount the panel, run the cable, connect your battery and loads, and the system works.

For elevating roofs, curved surfaces, and vans where a rigid panel is wrong but solar charging is essential — this kit does the job without compromise.

Why flexible instead of rigid here?

Weight and height. Elevating roofs and pop-tops have weight limits; curved roofs can't take rigid frames. The flexible panel delivers 150W with none of those constraints — at a small efficiency cost in hot weather.

Can I add more panels later?

Yes, if you choose the 30A board variant — it has controller capacity for a second panel. Check with us on the controller's sizing for your planned expansion.

How does the board differ from a loose MPPT controller?

The board mounts and wires the controller with fusing, busbars, and distribution terminals as one tested unit. A loose controller is just the regulator — you still need to buy, mount, and wire everything else.

Is the installation harder than a standard kit?

No — simpler. Fewer separate parts to mount and wire. The board is the heart of the system and arrives ready to connect.
