One purchase and your camper is a genuine off-grid machine — DC charging, solar harvesting, 240V inverter power, mains hook-up, and a 230Ah lithium battery to run it all. The aim here is to cover all of your fusing, switching, wiring, battery and charging for the complete electrical system. Every part is specified to work together, so there's no compatibility guesswork — this is the system we'd build for a van that lives off hook-ups.
The 12V side runs on our XS 50A power board — the latest-generation Orion XS DCDC charger at 98.5% efficiency, pre-wired, pre-programmed and tested on a CNC-machined phenolic plywood panel. 380W of Victron solar on its own pre-wired MPPT power board keeps the battery full when parked. On top of it: a pre-programmed Multiplus 2000Va inverter-charger — pure sine 240V for electric cooking, kettles, air fryers, and power tools.
The Multiplus is pre-programmed in house before dispatch, with its transfer switch handling mains when you do hook up. The 230Ah Fogstar Drift Gen2 lithium battery (2,944Wh) shows charge state live in the app — this is a system you can actually live on.

1600W continuous pure sine inverter with built-in 80A multi-stage charger and automatic transfer switch. Pre-programmed in house — no dongles, no setup required on your end. Supplied with professionally crimped DC battery leads and isolator switch, sized for the inverter's current draw.

Can I really cook on electricity off-grid?
Yes — that's what this system is built for. The Multiplus delivers 1600W of continuous pure sine 240V, which runs a single-zone induction hob, air fryer, or kettle (check your appliance's rating). With 230Ah of battery and 380W of solar, cooking bursts are comfortably within the daily budget in all but the darkest weeks of winter.
Which layout should I choose?
We offer 10 layouts — Small Van A-D and Large Van 1-6 — with looms and cables drawn to order. If yours isn't listed or your conversion is unusual, call or email us before ordering and we'll spec a custom one.
