Can this charge lithium batteries?

Yes — this charger supports lithium leisure batteries along with AGM and gel. If you're charging a large lithium bank regularly, the kits with the 20A or 30A Victron chargers will do it faster.

What's the difference from the No Charger kit?

About £50-100 and a charger. The No Charger kit is for people who already own one; this kit includes a basic one. If you'll ever want a Victron charger, buying it in the kit is cheaper than adding it later.

Is the safety protection really the same?
